It came to my attention today that the University of Rochester Medical
Center uses LIVE ferrets in medical training.  They maintain a colony of
ferrets to teach medical students how to intubate infants.  Rather than
teaching using human patients, they sedate a ferret and then shove a tube
down its trachea into its lungs.  This procedure it repeated once a month
for the ferrets entire lifetime!!!  YOU can help stop this torture.  Please
take the time now to send email to the Medical Center Adminstrative Group
urging them to stop this barbaric practice.  Medical students should learn
on people, not innocent ferrets.
