I just heard a semi-funny story about what my brother-in-law's ferret
Elwood did...
 
Elwood and his brother Jake have the run (ferretproofed)of his house...
Greg (the human) was making dinner and keeping an eye on Jake who was
under foot.
 
Dinner was in the oven and Greg went down to his basement bedroom, and sat
on his water bed... and noticed he was sitting in a ppol of water... Elwood
had eaten a huge whole in the waterbed and ther was water everywhere!!!
 
Luckily, Elwood did not eat any of the waterbed pieces ands after a
slathering of bitter apple does not even like the bed anymore!!
 
Furthermore, proving it is a small world...the sales guy at the waterbed
store was a ferret owner too.  Big laughs for all.  And very glad that no
bed was ingested!!!!
