Hi folks,

This may be a vet question but I would appreciate responses from anyone. My
five and a half year old ferret was diagnosed with an Adrenal tumor in
November. It was removed succesfully and we haven't had any problems with
that. However, Andy, developed a liver tumor which was removed a month and
a half ago. After the surgery he was acting like his ferret self but a week
later his stitches broke open. Yeah, it was gross. His insides were
hanging out. Needless to say, I rushed him to the vet to be put back
together.

He acted fine for three days then he stopped eating. He started licking his
chops a lot and really rubbing his tongue on the right side of his month,
over his teeth. He also started throwing up every time he smelled his food.

It has been about three weeks now that all he will eat is Ferretvite and
Duck soup. He still tosses his cookies every once and a while.

What can I do?? Does he maybe have a completely unrelated toothache??

The vet also said that he had the beginnings of pancreatic tumors too.

Thanks,

Chris
