Sorry, why exactly are people so upset about the ferret, without knowing
anything about the situation it was produced in?

For all we know someone father/grandfather died and left this his adored
Bessie the ferret (who he got stuffed when she died because he wanted to
remember her) but they, not feeling quite the same attachment, did not feel
they would feel confortable with it around and decided to try and find
someone who might apreciate it more. I had a good friend, who loved her
animals, who used to skin them when they died, and keeps the skins in
memory. Not my thing, but everyone has thier own way of remembering thier
pets, that was just her slightly.. different.. way.

As to the position.. I'm willing to bet that, over the course of ferret
history, more than one ferret has adopted a 'feirce, nasty looking
position', especially feral ferrets, in fighting and hunting. These
*are* carnivorous animals whos ancestors had quite a lot on thier hands
to survive, no matter how cute n cuddly your little ones are. Also, I'm
giving credit to the intelligence of the human race in general in assuming
most people are aware that mounted animals were put in thier respective
positions by the taxidermist, and thus don't really take the posture of a
stuffed animal as sooth for the personality and habits of the actual
animal.

Not slagging anyone off, I'm just wondering why everyone is acting like
someone snuck out in the middle of the night, swipped some childs dear
little pet, savangely sluaghtered and stuffed it in the intention of making
a buck on ebay.. After all, you do have no idea where this item came from.
