I vaccinate my own ferrets with Fervac-D.  I get it from one of many pet
supply companies including KV Vet, Jeffers, UPCO, etc.  If you want 800
numbers, I'd be happy to look them up for you.  KV or Jeffers is usually
the best price.
 
In this state (Michigan), a vet must be on the premises when a rabies shot
is given to a dog or ferret or that vaccination is not considered valid.  As
Michigan is not among the most ferret-friendly states (we are home to Kodo),
I would not consider vaccinating my ferrets for rabies myself.  The vet does
that.
