Hi,

Were you able to speak to any employee at the store yet? I know you
asked the question about ferrets and the length of time they stay in
the enclosure. You can also go right to the top and let them know that
a certain store is not very educated in ferret care. Buying them up
unfortunately is not going to solve the problem, they will just bring
more in. I have "saved" quite a few babies.

Trust me there was a certain Petco here in my town that knew me very
well when I walked into the door. I was never harsh or rude, I just
simply pointed out that the ferret enclosures were a bit dirty, no
food or water. Sometimes people just need to be pointed in the right
direction.

Just some thoughts
My heart goes out to these little ones
