She came to MetroFerret with no fur and no friends last August. She was
a geriatric adrenal ferret who hated other ferrets and bit people.
MetroFerret paid for her surgery and made a commitment for her to be a
permanent foster. During the adrenal surgery, the vet also found an
insolinoma. By Christmas time she had started to grow fur back and didn't
mind bring held. She still hated ferrets... -She lived with Tracy and was
happy to sleep the day away in her cage. -She lived with Patty and loved
to steal a sip of water from the fish tank -She lived with me and loved
my Doberman!

She never liked ferrets but she did like people. She would scream bloody
murder when a ferret came near her but would happily jump in to your arms
when you came to rescue her. She stopped biting after her surgery. She
sat on my niece's lap for over an hour, watching TV. She wasn't your
typical ferret but she was lovable.

Sandee, Lola died in her sleep on Sunday. She doesn't have a ferret Mom,
or other ferret friends to meet up with. Do you have a place for her
where she will be happy in eternity? She may not be missed by the fuzzies
of Tracy, Patty and I but we will miss her ....
