Hi,

Given the age of the ferret in question, I'd guess that it could be part of
an ovary from an incomplete spay causing the swelling. If that's not it,
it's probably adrenal disease. But, since she's less than a year old, I'd
bet on the incomplete spay - especially if she comes from a commercial
breeder that mass spays at a very early age. Either way, she needs to see
the vet and will probably need surgery to correct the problem. The vet can
check both potential problems during the surgery.

Good luck!
