Hello again everyone! :)

I wish I could have posted this yesterday with my other post, but today,
I brought home 2 new ferrets. Both were rescues from a guy who didn't
want them, due to having too many other pets. But they were neglected
(very much) but I don't think he did it on purpose. I've groomed both
of them (brushed teeth, cleaned ears (yuck!), nails trimmed, and a full
bath..). It was HORRIBLE.

Both have black heads on their tails, but I don't know much about them.
Is there some type of medication I can put on it to make it go away?

Their ears were absolutely horrible, I've never seen so much wax..and it
was black or very dark brown..they also keep scratching their heads a
lot, where their ears are. Could this be ear mites possibly? If so,
what can I use to get rid of them? They're the sweetest little ferrets
(a cinnamon and a black sable), one is supposedly 1.5 yrs old and the
other 2. But the 2yr old is way smaller than my 5mo old female! He had
been feeding them Marshall's diet + Purina kitten chow.. Anyways, just
thought I'd let everyone know about it. :)

Any replies or info is much appreciated!
