I wanted to thank everyone who responded to this post. I am delighted
to say the little girl (her name is Taylor, Michael Janke thank you for
letting me know!!) is currently safe at Jim Higgin's rescue.

Jim recevied the highest recommendations from others in the area and after
contacting him via email and phone, I don't believe she could be in better
or more loving hands!

Jim describes her as a sweetheart who is adorable. PHotos will be
available soon on his website of her and others available for adoption.

If you were willing to take her in, please contact Jim and consider one
of the many, many fuzzies available for adoption throughout Florida (or
anywhere in this country if you are outside Florida). Please, if you were
considering bringing her into your home, it is just as easy and even safer
to adopt a little one from a shelter. A shelter fuzz will have shots and
checkups, the Shelter Operator can tell you of temperment, activity level,
etc. You won't get too many surprises through a shelter adoption.
Remember everyone of those fuzzies waiting in a shelter were in the same
situation as Taylor, all of them were given up for some reason. Taylor
was just lucky enough to have someone hear about her and give us the chance
to post the situation on the FML.

Adoption or rescue - both are giving a ferret a wonderful new lease on
life. If you had room in your home and heart for Taylor, there are plenty
of Taylors out there waiting.

Hugs to all,

Jen and Gang
