Cursor Mania may be cute but it contains loads of Spyware (tracking
software) Adware (ad popups, browser redirects) and Malware (viruses). A
friend of mine downloaded this awhile back and it took quite awhile to
clean her computer of all the crap it downloads. It can also hijack your
browser so when you open up a page it automatically goes to whatever site
they've chosen. Spyware removal programs might remove the program but
they're often set up to reinstall upon reboot and can be VERY hard to get
rid of!!

I don't think we should allow posts that recommend to download program
that could be potentially harmful to users. A lot of people don't
realize the potential these programs have - tracking your every move,
installing viruses, programs, etc. Smiley Central, CoolWebSearch - all
these "fun" and "helpful" programs are seriously, seriously nasty.

On that note what you SHOULD be doing is a regular check on your PC with
Spybot Search and Destroy or AdAware (both available online for free).
If you haven't you'd be pretty surprised how much crap might be on
your pc!
