This is a poem my daughter wrote for her 6th grade English class. I thought
it was cute and wanted to share.

"THE CARPET SHARK"
I am a Carpet Shark,
Darkening a doorway
As quiet as a mouse

I am the Carpet Shark,
The floor belongs to me,
You see,

I am the Carpet Shark,
Everything glittery and gold,
I have stolen.

I am the Carpet Shark
Underneath my TV
Where you can't see me.

I am the Carpet Shark,
And I love to play,
At least fourteen hours every day.

I am the Carpet Shark
I can play in the sun,
Just make sure my harness is on!

I AM the Carpet Shark.
