Oh, I have the most horrible news! The green virus has arrived in New
Mexico; apparently we've had at least a couple of different ferret
families affected by it. We always knew it was only a matter of time.

I keep thinking of Dr. Williams' advice to be afraid, be very afraid. I
won't take my ferrets to shows for fear they might get it. Now I wonder:
How do you protect your ferrets when you take them to the vet? The virus
could be on the seats in the waiting room; on the counter in the exam
room. Is there any way to take precautions?

Linda
