I'm in the Seattle area and you can stick me on the Foster Ferret list..  I
know there are shelters around but I have room to take in more fuzzies if
needs be.
 
I'm also looking for a breeder in the area..  So if you are one or know of
one, please let me know..  I've staked out as many as I can at this point.

And in regards to the dumb questions-- I take my fuzzbutts with me whenever
I go to work (just to visit) or to pet stores.  They love riding in the
car..  Anyway, as I was coming out of a petstore with Oz on my shoulder a
lady near me said "Oh my god, she has a huge white rat!!!." I hardly think a
5 lb albino ferret looks anything like a rat..  But hey, who am I?
 
The most frequent question I get is "don't they stink?" or "aren't they
mean." And like Kat, I want to be sarcastic and say stupid things back..
But I usually behave..  Usually..  And give the proper speech that I've
gotten used to giving :)
