hi all,
 
I was reading through a couple of old posts about the feral colonies of
ferrets in New Zealand, and thought I'd add my 2 cents...
 
(I know this is second-hand, non-verified, one-persons-opinion info, but
I still thought it was interesting :)
 
My dad's friend worked for the NZ agency that trapped and collected feral
ferrets, polecats, hybrids, etc, and according to him, he never caught a
domestic ferret once in 20 years of working.  (not sure how he knew the
difference though... )
