I would like to start this post with a very large THANK YOU!!!  to everyone
that responded to my post re: Maxine and Cookie.  When I asked my vet for
liquid Pred she wanted to know why and I told her that I suspected Maxine
of having insulinoma, she of course asked my source and I directed her to
all the replies I had received.  She was over last night and Maxine did her
low sugar attack.  My vet then told me that she really doesn't know too
much about the diseases-surgeries she is a whiz.  I am going to educate her
to the best of my ability and the first thing is giving her a copy of the
Ferret FAQ.  I am now starting Maxine on 1/4 tab of Pred a day.  They are
15 mg.  I hope that isn't too much.  Thank you again.

[Moderator's note: I checked with Mary -- those pred tabs are 5mg, not
15mg, which makes the dose much more reasonable!  BIG]
