HI friends,

Oh Jerimiah !!!!-- THANK you Thank yOU!! for helping me get some of
those yummy N-bones. I saw Momma carry a plastic bag in with a number
of bags inside. I am so excited!

"Oh Geeze - Blossom! - I didn't do it- really you see the good fairies
at MAFF heard your whining and it is they who made the magic happen.
They do lots of good things there. I could see it all-- I am flattered
you think I can pull those kinds of tricks off - heck I haven't even
found a box of cheerios to spill up here yet!"

Uh Okay - well I am so so happy now - does this mean I should share em?
Or can I keep them all to myself? I was barking at the kids the other
night I wanted it to be all mine soooo bad! Well we have lots going on
for sure. Well, some sad news, Our remaining GI fellow Dargo in the VT
hospice house is not faring well, he has been to the vets almost everyday
and could use prayers please. GI gal Emily is doing well though she may
be beginning adrenal stuff. Apparently Dargo has grown a mass in his
belly and the ultrasound looks rather grim. The folks have been
desperately trying to reach his Dad who is finally stateside but they
are having no luck.

Dr Sandra has a new Ted update - though he hasn't healed he is making
some progress, she said .

"Ted is doing very, very well. He was having some rub sores from his
cast, and so we had to make some modifications to keep the bones in place
but not irritate his armpit, and he was well behaved for all the work.
He didn't even need sedation! The recheck films showed that the bones
are still in place (yay!) but weren't healed yet (no surprise there) so
we will take more films at 4 1/2 weeks and hopefully will be able to
remove the cast then.

He has finally discovered something brown that he likes (remember his
phobia of brown pellets?) -- chocolate ice cream! Naughty weasel! He
snagged it through the bars of his cage while I was working on the
computer. Well, since he ate SOMETHING brown I tried to reintroduce the
brown pellets and surprise of surprise - he ate some. So maybe we have
a breakthrough. At least I don't have to pick out all the colored ones
now. Don't take this to mean we can get away with missing a single soup
feeding!

He even has a girlfriend -- Ms. Milo, a severely adrenal ferret (the
white one you saw) that also came in for health care. They flirt between
the bars of the cage nightly now. His only bad habit - he has turned out
to be a nipper when you touch his belly. Belly scratches are a no-no.
At almost 2kg, you listen when Ted says no! "

Aunty Risa who was jest here for shelter workday and cuddled lots of us
kids got very ill and has been in the hospital with a bad appendix- she
is finally home recouping with her furkid Baby. Get better soon Aunty
Risa! Nestle sends special get well wishes your way!

Lucky is feeling better and better after his big ol' spleen gots taken
away!

Momma is working hard on the newsletter so it can get to the printers
on Monday- and she is also working on the Ferret Yearbook... Say I am
actually gonna be in it this time! WooHoo, So how about that Jerimiah!!!
I hope Shelter Mom buys a copy so I can see how pretty I am.

"Silly Girl!"

Well it is still raining like crazy here - we had 1 1/2 days without
rain-- BooHoo! I am worried about the floody ferrets and hope they are
able to keep dry. Momma is going to check on them on Monday too! We
also hope to hear back on the ADV tests of the new kids it seems this
time the tests did not come back as fast so they is pooping all over
their cage now- poor Mom!

Well I gots to go- There is a lot of supervising to do !

Please check out our ebay stuff which helps pay all the bills for food,
