Mine enjoy an occasional dip, but: their skin and eyes can become
irritated, so a good fresh water rinse is needed after. Also, as hubby
discovered on one memorable occasion, they occasionally poop in the
pool, if the water temp shocks them .... make sure they have pooped
recently before taking them in. And, it goes w/o saying, be there with
them at all times, in case they tire ... I prefer a small wading pool
with just a few inches of tap water, that they can bounce in and out
of ... messy but fun.
