Just wanted to comment on the Archetype Wysong product that is being
asked about.  I have purchased it and must say it is a hit with my dogs!
The ferts on the other hand...
 
Wysong makes a lot of really great products - both for animal and human
consumption.  This particular product is like dehydrated dirt.  If I
recall it is to be crumbled on top of dry food or you can make it into
a gravy like mixture.  I tried breaking it down with boiling water for
the gravy mixture, but the clumps only floated to the top.  Maybe if I
had crumbled it before adding water it might have worked.  Needless to
say, the dogs got an excellent treat but I chose to stick with duck
soup/chicken gravy.  Another product they make and my kids really like is
PDG.  It is a powder mix (add water) for starving/dehydration/sick kids.
