I really enjoyed the story that Lori arranged to have my name in. The
tale forced me to imagine myself very different than I have been in
life. Read it and you will see what I mean.

Yesterday was a big day for us: my first assessment by a second
glaucoma surgeon. He is not convinced that the current field tests
can be trusted as solely representing the glaucoma because the
post-surgical cataract is also playing a part in worsening results.
Plus, under a lot of glop that was causing terrible pain by pressing
on the bleb he found a stitch that was accidentally left in by the
MA surgeon eight months ago. It has been scratching my eyeball for
all this time and causing the glop buildup. Luckily, I did not get
infected. This second surgeon was able to get that stitch out and my
eye now is the most comfy it has been in ages. For a month we will be
trying an added med. Then in a month I will be reassessed to see if I
need a filtering bleb revision, a cataract removal, or both as well.

Lori has been a rock while we go through this.
