I'll bet I'm not the only one who feels this way, so in addition to

So many times we shelter Moms hear 'don't you have any babies?' and of
course the person is referring to kits not realizing they are all my
babies.
 
But once in a very great while someone will come in who will play gently,
quietly with the younger ferrets and then turn to me and say, "these are
adorable, but who needs me?'.  These people are more valuable than gold.
Sprinkle some on yourself.
