I heard a good idea that you might want to try..  The person put Ferretone
on the necks of the fighting ferrets, particularly the victim, and when the
aggressor latched on, he had a supprised look, then proceeded to lick his
victim..  They were reported later to be sleeping together:)
 
It seems to make sense, hope it works for you!
