My ferret Jako is ill again. It seems he's just prone to it. He is a
four year old male, desented desexed. The symptoms are just he stops
eating nd drinking and so loses weight. The first time this happend the
doctor diagnosed it as ECE. We gave him amoxcil and prednisolone. It
work and he got better and was gaining weight for about a month, then the
symptoms came back. The said that this disease can reoccur. Well, he is
not responding the way he did last time and now his fur is thinning on
his hind quarters. I had a ferret that suffered adrenal disease (before
many vets knew what it was) and there was no loss of energy and such.
I'm just not sure what to do.
