Valaria - Stinky's prolapsed anus, staining and small bowel movements should
not be ignored or left alone - IMHO.  This could be indication of intestinal
blockage or hairball or several other things I can think of.  You said stool
sample tested "normal".  What did vet test for?  Occult Blood?  Parasites?
Bacteria?  Please take Stinky to another vet asap and let us know how he
does?  Anytime a ferret "strains" while voiding or having a bowel movement
is a big red flag that something is going on.  Regards, Meg
