I also watched Pet Connection (Tues. May 5th) with Dr. Bernie Pukay. I
missed the very beginning but caught the part about suggesting good quality
cat or dog food (with adding vitamin supplements) and de-worming. I watch
this show a lot since it's on during my lunch break and was very surprised
when he mentioned feeding ferrets dog food and de-worming (I have heard that
they could get worms but not actually having to get them de-wormed..I'm sort
of confused here). He had good points as well but I hope someone watching
the show doesn't start feeding their ferret dog food which doesn't have
enough protein (as far as I know) or the taurine they need.

On Pet Line (Wed. May 6th) they had European ferrets on their show. The
lady showing them was very good and when asked why they were illegal in Ca.
and Hawaii she talked about how the Dept. of Fish & Game has them
misclassified as wild animals. She emphasized many times that they are
domesticated animals. She even joked around how this beanie baby that was
there would be the "prey" of the domesticated ferret. I enjoyed watching
it, especially since their is not too many ferrets featured on TV.

Rebecca..."WOW, Ferrets on TV Two days in a row..Alright!"
Zoe..."Rewind the TV mommy..I wanna see the fert's again!"
Tori..."No doggy food for me..bark, bark..oops..I mean dook, dook!"
