Hi--

If you intend to keep the ferrets and the boyfriend invest in a very
good HEPA filter for the ferret room and other rooms of the house where
your boyfriend is affected. Consider restricting the ferrets to a room
where the HEPA filter is kept.

Consider getting a cat/kitten shampoo designed for people with cat
allergies. This will help reduce the allergies, and bath the ferrets
in it.

Vacuum like crazy. A good HEPA filter vacuum cleaner becomes a must.
To reduce ferret dander, mites etc in pillows, mut the offending couch
cushion, pillow etc in a big plastic bag and then use the vacuum's suction
hose to suck all the air out of the bag. This will help vacuum out dust,
mites and other small things living in your furniture.

I hope someone else here can tell you about allergy shots etc.
