I picked up two of those 'fishing line'/retractable leashes for small dogs
this weekend and tested them out in my apartment hallway. If you walk your
carpet sharks and haven't got one of these - I *highly* recommend it! The
ones I have are 16' long, which gives them plenty of distance to run AND I can
slowly continue walking if they stop to check something out without having to
stop myself or drag the little buggers along! I had made leashes out of some
type of nylon cord, but I couldn't make the leash too long cuz it would end up
a tangled mess and the length I had just wasn't enough for their exploring
needs.

As for the abbreviations that one of our fellow subscribers uses here -
ROFLMAO = Rolling on the Floor Laughing My Ass Off. It took me a little while
to remember what it stood for, but there you have it!! Happy ferret fun!
