First, thanks to all who took the time to help me with such wonderful
advice and help. The prayers worked because she's perking up. She's
starting to act like a silly ferret again, not an old lady who's about
to die. She's eating more every day. Just when I was positive I would
find her dead in her cage she decided that she really wanted to hang
around. I finally figured out what the heck was wrong with her. She
has a sore on her gum. So she is eating soup plus kibble, and drinking
pooping and p'ing close to normal. I plan to take her back to the vet
to have him look at the sore on Saturday. (Can't take her in any sooner
due to my work schedule). She ate 1/2 a jar of baby food/kibble/cream
mix this morning and the other half tonight. She then turned in my arms
and attacked the cat!!! (Poor Freya).

She appears to be on the mend, and the vet can weigh her and let me know
if the weight gain is for real, or just my wishful thinking. (She feels
fatter to me).

Thank you all so very much for your help and prayers.

Shelley and the 4 healthy and 1 on the mend ferrets.
