Many of us here suffered extended power outage as well as tremendous
damage to our property.

I had not heard a word from those at Va Beach and today I got word from
Carol McCraig of the Ferret Rescue of Tidewater that she did fine. She
had 118 ferrets and took in another 40 from people who lost power and
more before the storm to babysit. Yet they all did fine. Carol put them
in cages, they were very crowded, and took the cages into her home. She
has a dedicated building for the ferts but for safety she brought them
inside with her. They did fine and so did her building. She had nearly
200 ferts in the house! Ha! Would have loved to turn them all out at
once to watch the action.

The baby sat ferts have all been picked up except 12 which will go back
Monday leaving Carol with her 118 ferts, and they will be put back in
the dedicated fert house probably today.

Just so everyone knows.
