I am usually a lurker here on the FML. I am also totally behind in catching
up. I think I am still reading early April <g>. Therefore, no one need pay
any attention to what I have to say, but I hope you will.

Perhaps some of you have heard of Taro, the so-called "Death Row Dog." The
show that was instrumental in saving Taro was "A Current Affair." They
faithfully covered the story and were innudated with letters (and probably
calls, I don't know).

I have been in contact with Ann Davis and have sent two packages to "A
Current Affair" concerning the McDowells. The last was Wednesday of this
week.

What I am suggesting is that everyone start sending letters to this show.
Perhaps by the end of the month so they will have had time to recieve the
packages. Also, refering to the packages might be helpful in giving a frame
of reference. Of course, I cannot compell anyone to do this, but to me it
seems worth a try. If they could save Taro, perhaps they can do the same with
the McDowells.

I selected "A Current Affair" because of Taro. If they cared about one animal
in a unique legal position, perhaps they would care about another.
