Due to a lightning hit on WJJD's tower last weekend, the ferret interview on
"All About Animals has been postponed until Saturday, August 12th. Same time,
Same station. Noon on 1160AM.
In other news, the GCFA is moving it's shelter from its Westmont Address to
a more spacious location in Lyons.  Grand Opening is set for Sunday, August
20th.  Also - the GCFA will soon have a WWW homepage.
 
[Moderator's note: Speaking of lightning, this mainframe has been hit by
power fluctuations 6 times in the past few days.  There hasn't really been
damage - parts are powered by generators - but we've been down lots and
it's very annoying!  BIG]
