Hi,
 
Has anyone had any experience with Ferret Wheels (aka overgrown
hamster/gerbil wheels)?  I'm worried that they'll squish
themselves between the metal stand supports and the steel
reinforcing strips on the sides of the wheel.  My attempt at
illustration:

? = potential squashing areas
 
Elmo (the sane) likes it, but I'm afraid to try it out on Otis
(the insane).  Has anyone had any bad experiences with these or
am I just being paranoid?
