COME ONE, COME ALL, to the Greatest Ferret Show on Earth.  The Greater
Chicago Ferret Association is hosting the biggest and best ferret show we
have ever had.  This event will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2004
at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, which is in Wheaton, Illinois.  The
doors are open to the public at 9:00 a.m. and the fun lasts until about
5:00 p.m.  Please visit our website GCFA.com for more information and

The Greatest Ferret Show on Earth will have more than twenty (20) vendors
selling ferret related merchandise.  WOW!!!  When the GCFA posted to the
FML about two weeks ago, we had sixteen (16) vendors.  But more vendors
have signed up, adding to your shopping pleasure with tons of ferret
goodies.  Please keep in mind, this is not twenty tables, there will be
twenty vendors.  The show hall is very, very large and can accommodate
everyone very comfortably.
 
Don't forget that Bob Church will be giving a talk on ferret enrichment.
This talk will take place during the time the judges take their lunch
break, which should be about 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.  The exact time will
be announced at the show hall when the judges take their break.  This
way everyone in attendance will be able to hear Bob s talk and not worry
about their ferrets being judged at the same time.
 
Kim Schilling, the author of "Ferrets for Dummies" is one of our judges.
Kim runs her own 501(c)(3) organization, Animals for Awareness.  The GCFA
is very grateful that Kim is able to take time from her own organization
to be a judge for the GCFA ferret show.  If you have "Ferrets for
Dummies", please bring it along and Kim will be more than happy to sign
your copy for you when she is not judging.  The GCFA sales table will
have "Ferrets for Dummies" available for purchase.
 
The GCFA will have a very large raffle table with many useful and
wonderful ferret items.  Tickets are $1.00 each or six (6) for $5.00.
There will also be a very large Corner Creek Acres cage for raffle.
The cage raffle tickets will be $5.00 each.
