Well if calling a ferret a stink butt, fur butt, fur kid, ect.... Is needing
to get a life or needing psychological help.  I really must be in trouble I
dance with ferrets.  PLEASE IF ANY ONE CAN CURE ME PLEASE DON'T.  I like
being this way.  Although I could use some dance lessons, I keep stepping on
Taz's feet.  :-)
 
BIG thanks for posting that removal from the FLM request.  You made me
SMILE.  BIG TIME.  Witch seems to be harder today than usual.  It's the one
year anniversary of the loss of my beloved Mako.  I send my condolences to
those who have lost their four legged children lately.  With the list
getting so big, I read of so many losses everyday it is almost impossible to
reply.  My heart goes out to all you/us.
 
FERRET SHELTERS that ferret sit.  I board my ferrets at the shelter at least
twice a year.  I think they like it there better than at home.  Although
they come running to me when I return.  The big thing is to make sure the
person doing the boarding knows all the needs of your ferrets ie.  FUR
BUTTS.  Meds.  foods, treats, even toys.  Ferret sitting helps pay for the
shelter.  I will not leave my fur kids with my son, even though he's old
enough.  I trust the shelter to do what is right.  We also have the same vet
that helps a lot.  Oh ya make sure you get the medical history of the ferts
just in case something happens.  Also make sure if your shelter had ECE that
the ferrets you're sitting did also or VISA VERSA.  You don't want to put
their ferrets in harms way or yours.
 
Make sure they sign a contract.  You do not want to get stuck with a large
vet bill if something were to happen to a ferret being boarded.  Ferrets can
get sick on a moments notice as we all know.  Last but not least.  Find a
shrink if you keep calling ferrets by any other name than ferret.  It's to
late for me but some of you out there may be able change your life back
around after years of psycho analysis.  Take care and have a good weekend.
