Little Dude's Ferret Ranch is moving. We have been in a temporary
location after selling our residence in June. Aside from that, there
has been alot of changes, the biggest going from a public shelter to a
private hospice. There are alot of reasons for this which I won't go
into unless someone specifically wants to know. It's important to reach
out through as many avenues as possible because I am in touch with so
many different people and organizations around the country and can't
possibly contact them all individually. This list will get to some of
them.

My point - is that we are buying property in a very rural location in
eastern Washington that does NOT have any type of cable/dsl service so
there will be a change in email address - at the very least. Website
and phone numbers won't change but email definitely will and our ability
to check it may not be as frequent. We are working on obtaining wireless
service but don't know how long that will take. From what I have
experienced over the last few years, the need for ferret hospice is
extraordinarily HUGE (and expensive) which is one reason we stopped
taking in ferrets from the public. We have about 30 hospice residents
in various stages of terminal health. The other reason we are not
taking in rescues or adopting out is because of the new rural location.
We don't expect there will be many people with ferrets or people who
want them. We are also completely set up to deal with any immediate
ferret emergency and only 60 minutes away from our vet. We still have
many ferrets in foster homes as well and also work very closely with
another shelter. This is our way of continuing to do our part for the
ferret community.

That said, we could be moving as early as October or late in November.
Those who are interested in how to reach us through email, keep checking
the website as it will be updated with new contact information before we
lose internet access.

Anyone with any questions, please feel free to email or call.
