Talk to Vickie McKimmey about what from the starting days of LIFE and from
the current AFA and the whole of the independant shows, FURO and even as
far bask as the IFA on show type stuff. She's got the most experience of
anybody with all the groups.

And yes, don't bother with the stud books. Though if anyone remembers the
talks about the ferret Demi Gigas, he is in there.

I'd have to have the book in front o fme to address the problems I have
with the Breeding book. Its not bad just old with a few mistakes.

Only one comment about the need to identify judges. You don't need to.
The only thing we can help with is the judging itself, the sponsoring club
is responsible for the rest. AFA judge's should be wearing their licenses
like badges while working anyway.

I do like the show staff which is from the sponsoring organization doing
something to be easily spotted. Lots of options, the polo shirts are fine
but dressier options exist too. Be creative! Give each show its own
flavor.

I dress better for the ring than I do for the 'real' job. Though there
could still be some improvements. Though what about the other three
judges? I suspect I was less dressed than most consider business wear.

Concerning how we judges hold ferrets, we do try to limit that to pretty
much just our hands to greatly reduce the potential for spreading disease.
If you aren't in to showing thats fine. But there is a reason its done the
way it is even if you don't understand. Ask why instead of making it sound
like we are evil bad people for not doing what you think we should. Find
the evil bad things we might actually be doing.
