A dear friend that has been a shelter supporter for years has come to
me for help.  Other than giving a little direction and seeking resources
for the skunk community, I have no experiences to draw from.
 
Recently, someone's skunk bit a family member and while authorities
confiscated Ozzie and assured the wife he would be held for 10 days,
Ozzie was put to sleep that very evening.
 
Kathy is trying to gather any information she can to help the owner, but
moreso, to get as much information as she can to see if a rabies study
for skunks is possible.
