Hello Fellow Ferret Lovers:

I am so happy for you Bryan, that your action has made life more bearable
for one of our precious furkids.

On another note, part of the solution to providing pets with better lives
would be to have a "set of instructions" handed out to a would-be-owner or a
new-owner. These instructions should include information regarding the care
which this pet would require, his behaviour, vet visits for innoculations,
spaying/neutering, nutritional requirements, etc. Are there any pet stores
who practice this?

Regarding the ferrets/dogs/cats issue: our dog is part border collie/lab mix
and is wonderful with the ferrets and the cats. The male cats tend to be
hostile towards the ferrets and have always been kept apart. (The male cats
have left for college now:) The two older female cats are totally
trustworthy with the ferrets and the kitten, well, she's no problem
whatsoever. She has a case of mistaken identity and thinks herself a
ferret. But, it's like having two-year olds in the house - I keep a close
eye on all of them.

Sincerely,
Jean and her sweetheart ferrets Katy and Sasha, and
the rest of the furblur gang.
