I purchased Fitch at a pet store on Sahara and Rainbow here in Vegas
called Jungle pets. What intrigued me was that he wasn't MF like my
other 2. So I himmed and hawed and fell in love with the tinniest
champagne baby. I named him Fitch. He was just under the size of a
bar of soap. The pet store labeled him as being a Canadian ferret,
he also still had stitches from his neuter. Yet still at 6 months of
age he started marking and had to have an abdominal testicle removed
$$$ 500 later. ( I posted here and got great advice)

He was and still is at 1.3 years of age a biter, nipper, a lover of
teeth into the flesh of me and my other ferrets. He is also a huge fan
and lover of mom (me). He greets me with nose kisses and ear snuffles
of which I transfer his wet nose from ear to ear for his and my
satisfaction. He is my 'angel boy', 'destruction boy' and 'golden
boy'. I luvs him so much!!!

When I took in Earl, a rescue, Fitch made it his personal mission to
put a hole in this sweet albino baby's face. Luckily I hear the havoc
and come running to release the new guy from Fitch's jaws. When this
Canadian baby needs a time out he gets the upper half of the ferret
nation cage and we call it 'the bachelor pad' blocking off the other
3 MFs from the crazy baby. Fitch is stocky, thick necked, alert,
insanely smart, never sleeps, will kill and eat live prey, loves his
chicken, turkey baby food, can handle the 2 Doberman puppies, will
actually climb me when I'm cleaning to get a better vantage point
and perch on my shoulder or head.

He also escaped our apartment a few months ago and I searched for him
for 3 days before he was found under a cars wheel well in front of the
complex. I didn't sleep the whole time and could barely look for him
through my tears. This incident brought me to the FML. Again
Thanks!!!!!

I guess the point of this is to say I love my boy and he is an absolute
handful! I am an experienced ferret owner, Petco doesn't even hire
experienced workers! They're just kids without world, ferret or life
experiences. Whew I'm venting...

I wouldnt trade Fitch for the world! Seriously I put him before my
husband (don't tell). He's just not for everybody.
