About 2 years ago two of our ferrets had severe reactions to a distemper
(FerVac) vaccination.  Jerry's reaction started 4 hours after the
vaccination while Ben's reaction didn't start till 6 hours after.  Yes, 30
minutes is not too long a time after vaccination for a reaction to start.
