One problem with reading the Ferret-List submissions is you miss one once
in a while. I must have missed the submission regarding ferrets and
darkness that seems to have lately precipitated much correspondence.

There was much discussion some time ago about ferrets and natural light;
the conclusion was that ferrets should receive natural light to minimize
adrenal and other problems. So, our two were moved to an area where they
can receive it.

Now, it seems, there are arguments being presented for keeping ferrets away
from natural light and give them total darkness for a major part of the day.

This can be confusing.

So, what IS the recommended light and duration?

Al W.
