When I need to find out how many animals are allowed and if they are
allowed in a specific city, town, etc.  I call the City Clerk's office.
If they don't have the answer they usually are willing to point me in the
right direction.  Being a shelter operator, this is a weekly phone call
around here.  We also have a web site for our state where you can look
up all ordinances by town.
