As some of you may remember, I posted several weeks ago about Joshua's
sudden and aggressive biting. Many people responded by saying that in
male ferrets adrenal disease can cause aggression. Joshua was diagnosed
with a small left adrenal tumor, for which the vet and I are still
discussing treatment options.

Now here is the interesting part... The biting really seemed to start
right after my son moved in with me temporarily and stopped abruptly,
when my son moved out a little over a week later. Before you assume that
my son may have been unkind to Joshua, let me say that he loves Joshua
and always gives him special attention when he visits.

My feeling is that Joshua wanted no part on this "intruder" in his home.
He is fine with the occasional visit, but when clothes and personal
effects started filling my home, Joshua decided things had gone too
far and he wanted everyone to know he was not happy with this new
arrangement.

I thought this was worth sharing in case anyone may have experienced a
similar situation. Amazing how these little fuzz balls take over the
household... I sometimes feel that they "allow" me to sleep and eat a
couple of meals there, but only on their terms.
