Hi all,
Recently i found two pea like lumps under my Clara`s jaw line. I`ve seen
my vet and at this stage she`s being treated with antibiotics, incase it`s
an infection. If this fails, she has recommended a biopsy. I have heard
that this isn`t a good idea because it can spread the cancer quicker (if
this is infact what is it) My vet has asked me to gather some net info, on
this disease. I`ve printed out the FAQ about Lymphoma from Ferret Central,
but any other additional information will be gratefully received :o) Clara
was a rescue so i`m not sure of her age, probably somewhere around 2-3.

My oldest baby, Katy was operated on back in July for the removal of two
huge tumours on her liver. She`s been doing really well, until last Monday
when i detected they had returned :o( Because of the speed these tumours
re-occurred, further surgery wasn`t really an option. It`s a case of
making what ever time she`s got left as comfortable as possible - my vet
assured me she was in no discomfort at present :o) I`ve been pretty
screwed up about this and just needed to share with other like minded
ferret people :o)

Best wishes,
Jane, Harvey, Katy, Casper, Phoebe, Emil, Dylan, Annie, Clara & Dot
