Dr. Robert Wagner is seeking $2,000 to investigate a possible way of
vaccinating ferrets against their coronaviruses.

The ferret coronaviruses are ECE which can cause damage that might
lead to IBD and perhaps even set the stage for future intestinal
malignancies when damage is great enough.

The systemic coronavirus mutant of ECE is the one which presents in
ferrets like FIP does in cats.

Dr. Robert Wagner is a professor at U. Pitt, and you can see abstracts
of some some of his ferret journal articles here:
