I just have a few thoughts I would like to share with you all. I want to
say thank you to the people on here who rescue and take care of these
little fuzzy cuties who need homes. I just recently found out how hard
it can be. Late yesterday afternoon I had a woman drop off a cutie to me
named Bandit. He was very very very thin and didn't look as if he had
eaten in days. I held him and gave him kisses, bathed him and clipped
his nails. Then we tried to get him to eat or at least drink....no such
luck. We continued to give him love and plenty of attention and finally
got him to eat half of a treat. Then we tried some raisins....that was a
no go. He finally drifted off to sleep and so did we. As I write this
my little rescue is now getting ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge. The
only condolences that I have are that I still have my big baby boy
Whiskers, and that Bandit was shown love and affection for at least a few
hours out of his life. I just wish I could have gotten him sooner to
make him better........keep him in your thoughts and prayers. thanks a
bunch. My sympathies to all who have lost a fuzzy family member.
