I just had to share a story with you of hope. I am registered with the
local humane society as a ferret contact/rescue person. About 2 weeks ago a
fellow worker's car broke down. She lives about 2 miles from me so I
started picking her up on the way to work. At the end of her road I noticed
a lost ferret notice. Of course, I said a prayer for the owner. This
Tuesday I received a call from a woman in that area who had found a ferret
and did not know what to do with it. I told her about the missing ferret
since it was also a table. She drove up there (15 miles), got the number
from the sign, called. The man drove down to her place posthaste and there
was an incredible reunion. She called me back to share the news. I had
told her I would check and take in the ferret temporarily if necessary. I
have to believe this little guy got a "list" from someone and then was
dumped or escaped. Anyway, there is one very happy ferret owner who was
separated at least 10 days from his baby. If your little one gets loose,
use the posters, contact your local ferret shelter and rescue people,
contact your local humane society. Don't give up.

Happy ferret dooks and smiles,
Pat in Oregon
