First, to everyone who wrote privately, thank you. I will be responding
to each and everyone of you.

Second, I apologize for my crankiness. I am going nuts. It's not a good
excuse, but it is the only one I can offer.

Here's what know and what I think.

I do not believe, nor does my vet (and if you have a good ferret vet,
you have to either decide to trust him or her or drive yourself nuts)
it is insulimona. I have had ferrets with insulimona and Buddy showed
absolutely no signs. No teeth grinding. No hind leg weakness. Nothing.
This happened overnight.

I believe it is a stroke. A stroke is (I believe) caused by blood clots.
The cause does not have to be the same as in other animals or humans.

I believe Buddy had an accident that caused this. In talking to others
who believe heir ferret had a stroke, that seemed to a common factor. I
think Buddy either fell, played too rough ith the dog- something. An
accident that caused this.

He's eating, but only twice a day. Softened ferret food mixed with
chicken broth. He poops. He pees. I am keeping him isolated and in
the dark. He seems to be blind. Picking him up for anything but food
panics him so I am leaving him alone (well, with a radio). He's going
back to the vet tomorrow (Tuesday).

He can't move except to roll. His head is twisted to one side, his hips
and back legs another.

What I actually want is for an angel to appear with a direct missive
from God to tell me what to do. I doubt that will happen.
