This is Susie Lee of the Ferret And Dove Sanctuary, Inc. of Pensacola,
Fla. and we have been having a whirlwind Adopt-a-Thon week at the
Sanctuary for some lucky families of newly adopted ferrets!
 
The ferrets who have "won" (over) their new forever-home families over
this past week are...
 
Fuzzy White Velvet, a spritely albino girl, ...Peaches Siamese, her
sister, a light chocolate with a tiny "siamese" mask,...their buddy,
Gimlet Dark Chocolate, a nearly black sable,...Frosty SnowBoy, a
boy-albino, and his buddy Jumbo Sweetheart, a roan mitt, ...Henry
Whitefur, a huge albino fellow and his half-sister Hazel Silvercoat,
a silver mitt lady,...and Seth SilverPanda, who buddied up instantly
with other ferret of his own new family.
 
Most amusing adoptions were of the family who brought their single albino
lady-ferret to pick out a playmate or two (we usually let the ferrets
themselves decide, once the humans are cleared for responsibility) and
wound up going home with five new ferrets!, the first five mentioned
here.  Congratulations to all these fuzzies and to all their new
families!  There are still plenty of youthful (3 years old and under)
and healthy fuzzies wishing for their very own families to boss around
and their photos are here...(between the area where it sez "here are the
adoptables" and "here ends the list of adoptables")  Every other one you
see which is not listed as deceased or passed on is most certainly
available for sponsoring, including the elderly newlywedded ferrets,
(near the bottom of the page)
