Okay. I have to admit that I haven't tasted my ferret's kibble or
ferretone or meds (except those I have had the opportunity to have to
take myself).

But I will admit that I have tasted both the Bitter Apple Spray and the
Gel. In this case curiousity got the better of me. I wanted to know
if it was really as bad tasting as the packaging claimed. YES, it is!!

There is absolutely no question in my mind know why it is so great as
a chew deterent. The spray is definately shorter lived than the gel.
I made the mistake of touching a lamp cord that had been covered with
the gel 4 months before we moved and then stuck my finger in my mouth
when I jammed it on something else. Needless to say the gel was still
effective :)
